How we made it

From an idea on paper to a 3D game that runs in your browser. Six steps, with the studio's real material.

  • The cloud blocks Kitsune's path on the boardwalkAThe cloud blocks the road
  • Kitsune runs upside down among the palmsBAnti-gravity among the palms
  • Curve warning before the turnCThe curve, with a warning

The run, tested frame by frame

Every idea in the run was tested in desktop and mobile captures before it stayed: what reads, what confuses and what you see in time.

A world made of pieces

Chivas, buses, taxis, houses, lampposts and palm trees: each piece starts as an image, becomes a 3D model and is slimmed down so phones can run it smoothly.
